Program Details
Our Train The Trainer programs that are delivered to you are accredited training programs and exceed all applicable industry standards and government regulations.
Your company trainers will learn the instructional techniques involved to best communicate these concepts in a classroom and/or field environment as per: OHSA Section 25-28, Ontario Regulation 851 Section 130,138, Ontario Regulation 67 Section 10, Ontario Regulation 213 Section 21, Ontario Regulation 833 Section 7.2 and the current version of CSA Z-94.4. Respirator Fit Testing.
Program Duration:
8 Hours
Materials Provided:
Training manual and USB flash drive containing; video, forms and templates (quiz, certificate templates, record of training template and reference materials)
Course Content:
- Understanding Qualitative Fit Testing
- Required Respiratory Protection Program elements
- Proper donning and doffing of the respirator, performing seal checks, care and maintenance, and defining the differences between N Series, P Series as well as half and full face respirators, and how to select filters/cartridges
- The principles of teaching adults, including: the use of equipment, teaching styles, learning and risk and how to measure the success of the course being taught
