Program Details
Our Federal Confined Space Training course is designed for Confined Space Entrants, Entry Supervisors, and Safety Committee Members who work under federal jurisdiction in Canada. This training program ensures participants meet the requirements outlined in Part XI of the Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Part II of the Canada Labour Code.
This comprehensive course provides the knowledge and practical skills necessary to safely perform work in and around confined spaces, with a strong emphasis on legislative compliance, risk management, and emergency preparedness.
Participants will receive instruction and hands-on training in the following areas:
- Federal Legislation: Part XI of the Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
- Risk Assessment Procedures for Confined Spaces
- Development of Entry Plans
- Issuance and Management of Entry Permits
- Identification and Control of Atmospheric Hazards
- On-Site Rescue Procedures and Rescue Plan Development
- Energy Source Isolation and Control
- Ventilation Requirements for Confined Spaces
- Performing Hot Work in Confined Spaces
- Instruction and Training Requirements for Workers
Program Duration:
6 Hours

Training Is Valid For:
3 years from the date of successful completion.

Course materials and participant workbooks.

Certificate Issued:
Upon completion, students will be issued a certificate and wallet card showing proof of their training.
