Course Details
This course is intended for those who will perform Type 1 and/or Type 2 asbestos work operations.
This course meets the training requirements under Section 19 of Ontario Regulation 278/05 for performing Types 1 & 2 asbestos work.
Who Should Attend?
- Any workers who intend to perform Type 1 and Type 2 asbestos operations.
- Supervisors of workers who intend to perform Type 1 and Type 2 asbestos operations.
- Individuals who contract out work on asbestos containing materials.
- Health and Safety Professionals and Joint Health and Safety Committee members who are looking to expand their knowledge.
Additional Notes
- This theory-based training should be complemented by employer on-the-job training to ensure a worker is competent to perform asbestos operations.
- All participants will be required to use their full legal names upon registration.
- Participants will be required to attend the full training session and pass a written quiz to receive a certificate for this course.

Course materials and participant workbooks.
Training Is Valid For:
3 years from the date of successful completion.
Certificate Issued:
Upon completion, students will be issued a certificate and wallet card showing proof of their training.
