Program Details

As one of the largest forklift training providers in Ontario, Industrial Safety Trainers prides itself in delivering impactful discussion-based training on the safe use of forklifts. In addition, our forklift safety certification follows the current CSA Standard B335 for the Safe Operation of Lifting trucks,  as well as theMinistry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. “Guideline for The Safe Operation and Maintenance of Powered Lift Trucks.”

Practical Skills Evaluation

Certification of competency requires successful completion of both a written in-class examination and a hands-on skills evaluation. The evaluation fee is $70 per person per assessment. Additional fees may apply for multiple equipment evaluations and locations outside our standard service area. Please contact us for specific coverage details.
Candidates should complete their practical evaluation within 90 days of successfully completing the course.
For IST to conduct the equipment evaluation, participants must ensure:

  • They possess sufficient prior experience with each piece of equipment to be evaluated
  • All equipment has current annual certification and inspection documentation
  • The equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly

Training Is Valid For:

3 year from the date of successful completion.
