Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Part 2 Industrial Training

Program Details
Once the JHSC members have successfully completed ‘Basic Certification Training’, they are required to fulfill the requirements of ‘Part 2 – Specific to Manufacturing or Industrial Workplaces’. This involves performing a risk assessment to ensure proper RECOGNITION, of hazards in the workplace. Training is required in properly assessing those hazards and implementing adequate controls.

Training Is Valid For:
3 years from the date of successful completion.
Materials Provided:
Course materials and participant workbooks.
Classroom Locations:
Barrie, London, Ottawa, GTA
Certificate Issued:
Upon completion, students will be issued a certificate and wallet card showing proof of their training.

What The Program Includes
Our JHSC Part 2 Industrial Course includes the below modules and meets the legal requirements of OHSA Section 9 (12), 7(6), Regulation 297/13 Section 5(1). The Participant will become familiar with the requirements of the Industrial Establishments Regulations, O.Reg. 851/90.
