Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Part 1 Refresher Training
$380 – $395
JHSC Members who have completed Part 1 and 2 training are required to take refresher training every 3 years in order to maintain their certification.

Program Details
Certified JHSC members are required by O.Reg. 297/1
3 to take a CPO Approved Refresher Course within 3 years of their initial certification, and every following 3 years.
In addition to materials regarding updates to the OHSA and Regulations, practical skills are refreshed. This involves performing a risk assessment to ensure proper RECOGNITION of hazards in the workplace. Training is required in properly assessing those hazards and implementing adequate controls.

Training Is Valid For:
3 years from the date of successful completion.
Materials Provided:
Course materials, participant workbooks and Ontario Green Book (OH&S Act & Regulations)
Classroom Locations:
Barrie, London, Ottawa, GTA
Certificate Issued:
Upon completion, students will be issued a certificate and wallet card showing proof of their training.

The role of Safety Representatives and their authority in the workplace.
Refusal of Unsafe Work
Understand the policies around work stoppages and work refusals.
Risk Assessment
Learn and understand how to conduct a Risk Assessment for your business.
Accident Investigation
Learn about workplace and accident investigation and inspections.
