Our JHSC Part 2 training is designed for committee members who have completed Part 1 and are ready to develop workplace-specific safety expertise. This comprehensive course guides you through advanced hazard recognition techniques, teaching you to identify risks unique to your work environment and industry. You’ll master the RACE methodology (Recognition, Assessment, Control, Evaluation) through practical exercises that help you evaluate complex safety scenarios and develop targeted control measures that actually work in real-world situations.
Throughout the program, you’ll collaborate with other safety leaders to create actionable safety plans tailored to your workplace challenges. Our experienced instructors help you build confidence in conducting thorough hazard assessments, recommending effective control strategies, and developing implementation plans that drive measurable safety improvements. By the end of this course, you’ll have the skills and certification needed to lead meaningful safety initiatives and support your organization’s commitment to protecting every team member.

What The Course Includes
Our JHSC Part 2 Course includes the below modules and meets the legal requirements of OHSA Section 9 (12), 7(6), Regulation 297/13 Section 5(1). The Participant will become familiar with the requirements of the Industrial Establishments Regulations, O.Reg. 851/90.
