This course meets the requirements outlined in Section 147 and 148 of the Safety Act, as well as CSA Standard Z460. Participants will cover the following:
- Requirements of the Safety Act
- Requirements of the Safety Regulations
- Excerpts from the CSA standard
- Types of energy sources
- Lockout devices
- Steps to perform lockout/tagout
- Additional considerations
- Sample procedures
- Arc flash awareness
