Course Details
Our Federal Supervisor Due Diligence Training is specifically designed for supervisors and managers working under federal jurisdiction. This course ensures compliance with the Canada Labour Code Part II and the Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, helping supervisors understand their responsibilities and the critical role they play in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
Participants will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to meet due diligence obligations, manage workplace safety, and foster a culture of health and safety compliance.
This training course includes:
- Importance of Workplace Safety and Supervisor Accountability
- Understanding the Internal Responsibility System (IRS)
- How to Navigate the Canada Labour Code Part II and Health and Safety Regulations
- Duties of Employers and Supervisors
- Duties and Rights of Employees
- Handling Accident Scenes and Interference Rules
- Participating in Labour Course Inspections and Investigations
- Powers of Health and Safety Officers (Compliance Officers)
- Prosecutions, Penalties, and Legal Liabilities
- Role of Workplace Committees and Health and Safety Representatives
- Internal Complaint Resolution Process (ICRP)
- Conducting Hazard and Risk Assessments
- Investigating and Reporting Hazardous Occurrences
- Developing and Implementing Hazard Prevention Programs
Course Duration:
8 Hours
Minimum Participants:
6 Participants Minimum
Training Is Valid For:
3 years from the date of successful completion.

Course materials and participant workbooks.

Certificate Issued:
Upon completion, students will be issued a certificate and wallet card showing proof of their training.
