Our modern facility includes three spacious training rooms and a dedicated space for practical evaluations. Conveniently located just minutes from Highway 400 and Mapleview Drive, our centre is easily accessible by car or public transit. We offer free on-site parking at the front and back of the building, and we’re a short Uber ride from the Barrie South GO Station.

Where is your Barrie training facility located?

We are minutes from Highway 400, just off Mapleview Drive. 

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM.

How do I register for a course at the Barrie location?

You can easily register online or contact our Customer Experience team at hello@istcanada.ca.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Electronic Funds Transfers. 

Do you offer group or corporate training at this location?

Yes! We host private corporate training sessions as well as public training for individuals. 

Is parking available at the Barrie location?

Yes, we provide free on-site parking at both the front and back of the building. 

Is public transit available to the facility?

Yes! Our training centre is accessible via Barrie Transit Routes 8 and 12, with stops nearby on Saunders Road and Mapleview Drive. We are also a short Uber or cab ride from the Barrie South GO Station.

Do you have on-site food or nearby restaurants?

Yes! We’re just a short drive from Park Place, where you’ll find a variety of options, including Tim Hortons, Subway, Panera Bread, Mucho Burrito, and A&W. For those bringing their own meals, we also provide a kitchenette with filtered water, a fridge, and a microwave. 

What should I bring on the day of my training?

Participants should bring any food or beverages they wish to consume. We offer complimentary coffee, tea, and water. Meals are not provided. 

What happens if I’m late for my course?

For CPO-approved training, participants arriving more than 10 minutes late may be excused, and those missing more than 30 minutes may not be eligible to complete the course. For non-CPO training, lateness will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you are running late. 

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Changes or cancellations can be made up to 5 business days before the scheduled training date. 

Do you provide PPE for training?

Participants should bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for their course (check your registration confirmation email for details). If you do not have PPE, we have extra available on-site.
