Where is your Ottawa training facility located?
We are located just off Walkley Rd at Hwy 47, at 3009 Hawthorne Rd, Unit #1, Ottawa.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
How do I register for a course at the Ottawa location?
You can easily register for any course online here or contact our Customer Experience team at hello@istcanada.ca for assistance.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Electronic Funds Transfers for your convenience.
Do you offer group or corporate training at this location?
Yes, our Ottawa Training Centre can accommodate both private corporate training and public sessions for individuals.
Are you courses MLITSD approved?
Yes, we offer CPO-approved training programs, including Joint Health & Safety Certification (JHSC) Part 1, JHSC Part 2 Sector-Specific Training, and Working at Heights (WAH) training.
Is parking available at the Ottawa location?
Yes, we offer free on-site parking for our participants.
Is public transit available to the facility?
Yes, our Ottawa Training Centre is conveniently accessible via OC Transpo bus routes 40 and 48. Both routes have stops within a short walking distance of our facility.
Do you have on-site food or nearby restaurants?
There are several restaurants and cafes nearby, including Tim Hortons, Subway, A&W, and Number 1 Sub. We also have a kitchenette with filtered water, a fridge, and a microwave.
What should I bring on the day of my training?
Please bring any food or beverages you’d like for the day. We provide coffee, tea, and water, but meals are not provided.
What happens if I’m late for my course?
For CPO training sessions, participants who arrive more than 10 minutes late may be excused, and those who miss more than 30 minutes in total will not be able to complete the course. For non-CPO training, we evaluate each case individually, but we encourage participants to inform us if they will be late.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
You can cancel or reschedule up to 5 business days before the scheduled training session.
Do you provide PPE for training?
Participants should bring their own PPE as required for the course. Please check your registration email for specific details. If needed, we have extra PPE available at the facility.
