About The Role

As Manager of Workforce and Field Solutions, you will lead the operational backbone of SafetyCo’s field workforce — ensuring that highly trained safety professionals are deployed, supported, and developed to deliver world-class safety services on behalf of one of Canada’s leading occupational health and safety firms. SafetyCo (including Safety Design Strategies) provides comprehensive safety solutions — from site safety officer placement and regulatory compliance consulting to rescue services and industry-leading training — trusted by organizations nationwide 24/7, 365 days a year.

In this role, you will play a critical in-field leadership part, coaching and developing personnel, optimizing workforce operations, and directly supporting clients with dynamic safety needs. Reporting directly to the Director of Health & Safety, you will focus primarily on the Workforce and Rescue teams, ensuring SafetyCo’s workforce is efficient, compliant, and aligned with both client expectations and organizational goals.

Why The Role Matters

SafetyCo and its partners train 18,000+ people annually through 40+ accredited courses, helping organizations build safer workplaces and strengthen safety culture. You will ensure the field execution of those safety standards, driving real impact on job sites every day. This role is built for someone who thrives in the field, leads by example, and cares deeply about people going home safe at the end of each shift.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Processes & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement and follow standardized processes related to workforce management, onboarding, scheduling, and field support.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures for field roles and client sites.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and workforce effectiveness.

Client & Site Support

  • Serve as a consistent on-site and field-facing presence for clients, supporting workforce execution and expectations.
  • Support client-specific site requirements as they relate to safety staffing and field operations.
  • Maintain professional, solutions-focused relationships with client site leadership.

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular updates and field intelligence to the Director of Health & Safety related to workforce performance, trends, and risks.
  • Document incidents, performance concerns, and operational issues accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support reporting related to workforce metrics, compliance, and field operations as required.

Qualifications & Experience
