GTA and surrounding area | Marketing & Technology Team | Contract
Overview
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to build and run our marketing engine from the ground up. You’ll create campaigns that drive growth, content that connects, and strategies that turn insights into action – all while working closely with Sales and Ops to make a measurable impact.
What You’ll Do
- Build the Marketing Foundation: Establish our marketing function from the ground up, developing the programs, processes, and materials that support sales, build awareness, and fuel future growth.
- Content Strategy & Creation: Plan, create, and manage compelling content across key channels (website, blog, case studies, email, social) to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales enablement.
- Campaign Development & Execution: Design and deliver full-funnel marketing campaigns (email, paid, organic, social, events) that generate awareness, drive engagement, and build pipeline. Oversees execution from strategy through measurement, optimizing based on results.
- People Leadership: Manage team performance against marketing portfolio objectives and campaign KPIs, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep informed on the latest digital marketing, AI, and automation trends to improve efficiency, engagement, and ROI.
- Website Ownership & Optimization: Partner with our developer to manage our websites as a core marketing and lead-generation asset. Keep content fresh, ensure messaging aligns with business goals, and optimize for conversions.
- Sales Enablement & Alignment: Create and maintain sales support materials – decks, one-pagers, case studies, to help move deals forward. Work closely with Sales to align on lead quality, handoff processes, and feedback loops.
- Marketing Operations & Analytics: Implement and manage marketing tools (CRM, automation, reporting) to track leads, measure results, and improve efficiency. Define metrics and reporting frameworks to clearly demonstrate marketing’s impact.
- Campaign & Program Strategy: Translate brand and portfolio-level objectives into campaign strategies. Use customer insights and past performance to inform briefs, KPIs, and tactical plans.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in an early-stage or growth-focused environment.
- Proven success in building marketing programs from scratch.
- Expertise across content creation, campaigns, sales enablement, and digital marketing.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills; able to independently produce high-quality materials.
- Hands-on experience with marketing and CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, WordPress, Google Analytics, Zapier, etc.).
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Ops, and leadership teams.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and optimize campaigns.
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and balances big-picture thinking with hands-on execution.
- Adaptable and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-changing environment.
