SafetyCo is proud to celebrate two of our exceptional team members who have been recognized on Canadian Occupational Safety’s Top Women in Safety 2026 list. These women exemplify leadership, expertise, and a commitment to safer workplaces and occupational health and safety consulting across Canada.

Jessica Amadio, based in Sault Ste. Marie with SafetyCo Partners brings over a decade of experience in occupational health, industrial hygiene, and workplace safety program development across construction, mining, and natural resources. Since joining SafetyCo North in 2025, Jessica has expanded access to high-quality safety training and compliance resources in Northern Ontario, creating programs and initiatives that are practical, collaborative, and people-focused. Her technical expertise, paired with a mentorship-driven leadership style, has inspired inclusive safety cultures and supported the next generation of women in occupational health and safety.

Mary Marziano, leader at Safety First Consulting (a SafetyCo Partner) has long been a trailblazer in workplace safety, injury management, and safety advocacy. With a rare dual perspective representing both workers and employers, Mary founded Safety First Consulting in 2005 to address critical gaps in workplace safety services. Her leadership helped the company grow into a nationally recognized firm serving nearly 500 employers. Since SafetyCo Partners invested in Safety First in 2025, Mary has continued to expand integrated safety solutions and injury prevention programs across Canada, while inspiring women in construction and workplace safety through mentorship and advocacy.

These recognitions highlight not only individual achievement but also the collective impact SafetyCo’s leadership team brings to occupational health, workplace safety, and employee safety culture nationwide.
